Today we're going to be taking a look at some of the problems you might face on FairyABC (old and new) and how to tackle them/face them :D !
Anyway,for
those of you who have absolutely no idea what I’m talking about,basically a
player of Pixie Hollow ,the amazing and talented Wind Muddle together with his
team (including the very
talented Fzra Su their graphic designer,Apple and many others like Rachel
Lau,Vanessa Dawn,Pearl …) recreated Pixie Hollow under the official name of
“Fairy Abc”!!!!The game had appeared in a different form back in 2015 but was
taken down eventually,so let’s just hope this one is here to stay.

But now we
also have our Own PH “Rewritten” :D !!
MY TIPS/HOW TO TACKLE YOUR GAMING PROBLEMS(UPDATED!) :
Let’s beggin
from the very very basics.(Warning:This is going to be a long post,cause the
problems are many and I wanted to make this thorough)
IF YOU CAN'T ACCESS THE GAME:

Also,
sometimes you might not be able to access the website because the main server refreshes itself everyday for half an hour or 45 minits. In that case just try later on :)
SIGNING UP/REGISTERING :
UPDATE:
FairyABC has been updated recently and to play the new version you have to be a member of the forum.It might be confusing to some but don't worry cause I have a quick tutorial on it!

IF YOU CAN'T LOG IN:
If you can't login,try using you username instead of your e-mail to log in (it won't accept your email,only your username) and type your password again ;) .
That should do the trick <3
RUNING THE GAME:
UPDATE:
Now there
were other people that couldn’t AT ALL run the game.
According
to one of their admins, you can run the game with these browsers:
Avant,Mozilla Firefox,Google Chrome,Opera, and Maxthon Browser.
Most people use either Firefox or Chrome,depending on what works better for them.For me Firefox works better,but for other it's Chrome that works the best.
So if you
you’re running it with Internet Explorer for example (in which case WHY?XD)
that might be why it’s not working.
LOADING PROCESS:
Now I’d just like to say that the first time (or after an update ) the game loads you have to be VERY VERY PATIENT with it cause it will
take a long time for everyone
and it’s totally normal ,so don’t worry.
I suggest
you close any other tabs or running programs cause they might slow down the
game in general.
In case the
bar turns RED though you must refresh (don’t be scared it will load a lot
faster now if you refresh it ) .
Also when
first loading the game I had to restart my computer which helped a lot actually

IF YOU'RE STUCK IN THE "ONE MOMENT" SCREEN/SERVER SELECTION:
UPDATE:
After the loading is done, a screen with available servers will pop up. (After you have finished creating your fairy,if it's the first time you play)
If you see
no available servers then just go to www.ph.fairyabc.com/server and choose a name of a server and click on “Launch”. You can also choose to put your name and the place you're at,or you can leave those boxes empty .:)
Keep that tab
open, and go to the other tab (the one with the servers) and refresh it.You will see the server you made,so
click on it.Now you'll be able to play :D
The same
trick also helps if you try to go on other servers,and then the “Wait a moment”
(which is basically an eternity lol) screen appears but never leaves o.o .
That
usually happens to me with servers with a lot of people in them.
Also my friend Angie suggests not to ever open as a server or go to Hidden Ridge cause it's usually glitchy.Found that out for myself as well today when I hosted it as a server and it wouldnt let Angie in it ..
GOING TO A SERVER WITH OTHER/MANY PEOPLE:

Personally
I usually can’t go to the
servers with other people in them (which sucks btw).
But
sometimes I manage to.What I do is the following:
First I
refresh and try again.You might want to repeat this step a couple of times
If that doesn’t
work then try going into anohter server (make one with only you in it
perhaps).Then refresh and try on the crowded one again.You might also want to
repeat this step a couple of times.
If that
also fails,close any other tabs.Maybe even close and reopen your computer and
repeat the previous steps.If that doesn’t work either and you really want to
hang out with your friends for example then create a new server ,go in it and invite your
friends to come into it after you .It should work ;)
UPDATE:Right now after the updates,that doesn't work for me anymore. Someone suggested that I try to clear my cache memory .Someone else said that using a free VPN (Virtual Private Network, google it) could help,because it worked for someone else with the same problem. Or that I should try using Avant,Opera or Maxthon as browsers.
I'll try all of these and let you know how it goes guys :D
IF YOU CANT MOVE:
Sometimes
after flying to a meadow,you will seem like you are seated and won’t be able to
move. Resolve this problem easily by clicking on the “sit” button to actually sit,
and then click on it again to stand up.You will now be able to move .
ALSO,check to see if your FRIENDS LIST is open.If it is then close it in order to move.
IF YOUR FAIRY IS BLACK AND WHITE/THE “GHOST”
GLITCH:

Now one
really annoying glitch I encountered was looking black and white for a
while.Normally you should be able to remove that problem by going to Schelly’s
shop and choosing the colour of your skin/hair/eyes wings etc. Then go to
daisy’s dies to give colour to your clothes.
If like me,you
still looked like a ghost after that,then Wind suggested to me that I
try and clear cached files, and reload
chrome://settings/clearBrowserData for chrome
That didn’t
work for me personally (although it might help you)
So I
thought of running the game with FIREFOX , which actually WORKED FOR
ME!!!!!!!
And I could finally see my
fairy with colour!So if you’re using Chrome then DEFINETLY try Firefox.
And if you have this problem when you use Firefox to run the game,then try Chrome or one of the other browsers I mentioned above :D !
IF YOU CAN’T GO INTO THE SHOPS OR OTHER PLACES/”TRAVELLING TO 0”:
Now of course,after making your fairy colorful, the
next step is to change her according to your liking.What happens if you can’t access
the shops to do that though?
For example I often have
problems with that as it may give me a “Travelling to 0” screen and never load
the shop :/
In that case you want to
refresh.After that make sure to click on precisely on the LETTERS /TITLE of the
shop,and NOT THE SIGN. Problem sloved :D
IF YOU CAN'T FIND THE ICE PALACE:
Speaking of not being able to go places...have you noticed that you can't find the ice palace?
Well that's because it's a little tricky to find it but it's not hard!
Simply go to the map,and drag your cursor above Chilly Falls.
You'll notice it says "Winterhall" right? Click there,that's the Ice palace :D

CUSTOMIZING YOUR FAIRY/SAVING THE CHANGES:
I also have trouble sometimes
when customizing my fairy and then wanting to save the changes,because somehow
I can’t exactly click the “Get” button ,as in the cursor doesn’t change when I
click it like it should.So I just click on it a bunch of times to make sure XD and
then click on the map to exit the shop. However sometimes even though I did
that, it would save random changes:
Like,I didn’t even know you
could make your skin green lol.So I click
on each item /or skin colour etc a bunch of times,then click “get” and make
sure the item I choose in the list is the first in order to my left (the first
item I see on the left).
That usually makes the trick
;)
IF YOU CAN’T SEE YOUR FRIEND BUT YOUR FRIEND SEES YOU:
Wind Muddle just posted about
that on Fb actually. It will be fixed within a week.
But basically you should just refresh

OTHER GLITCHES :
CLONES:A lot of people get their
clones when they sign in,so in that case you probably just want to refresh
0 name:If your name is 0 but your
other info is right,you just want to again..refresh
Chat: Sometimes the chat
bubbles get on top of each other.Resfresh,and if that doesn’t work close any
other programs and tabs.If it still continues then close and reopen you
computer.
Mixed background music: The
same thing that applies for the chat glitch
Moving without a reason:
Sometimes when you got to a meadow you start flying without a reason.But it’s
not really something to frown over.Happens sometimes,nothing big
OR,Read their official

That’s all for now,I’ll update

Also the game gets updated all
the time as you can see, so a lot of the bugs will hopefully be fixed anyway.
Despite the problems though,I
think we should all just take a moment to appreciate this game and the effort
put in it J The people that made it are not professionals,and
when they got the idea to make it they didn’t even know ANYTHING about
making a game,so again guys THANK YOU
